Another Twelve Months of Phoebe

I’ve lost my streak of writing one day ahead because I wrote two slices on Wednesday and got to schedule two days ahead, then didn’t slice yesterday, grateful for the cushion. But that means I’m stuck here with a loss of what to write!

I almost starting slicing about my love of musicals (we saw an amazing local production of Dear Evan Hansen last night, and “Dear Theodosia” has been stuck in my head randomly for the past 24 hours), but then Phoebe snuggled up next to me and stared at me, like this:

So I decided, maybe it’s time to peruse my camera roll and find my favorite photos of her from each month since last March!

April 2025: Absolute ridiculousness
May 2025: Looking at the Kasa camera as I yell at her to get off the table
June 2025: “What? This is normal!”
July 2025: In her favorite place to roam off leash — Central Park!
August 2025: Checking out our new views!
September 2025: I mean, come on!! 🥹🥹
October 2025: My little baby and me
November 2025: Best coworker, she likes to snuggle with me in the afternoons
December 2025: Hilarious look she gave me as I was taking a mirror photo to show off my new sneakers
January 2026: Concerned about me when I was sick with the flu. “You good, mom?”
February 2026: Phoebe comes to book club and can’t believe her luck!
March 2026: Last week, not a worry in the world. Any time is nap time!

I hope you enjoyed those, cause looking for the best photos to represent each of the last twelve months was an instant mood booster for me!

    These photos are just precious. It seems that whenever there is a loss for something to write about, out always come through with ideas for us.

    Obsessed with this post and needing to do my own “12 months of pickles (my favorite cat)” as a way to do something with the endless number of photos I take of him. Phoebe is so expressive and photogenic!
